💡 What is the role of skills for resilient societies?

👥 High-level representatives and stakeholders from macro-regional strategies and EU officials discussed skills during the EU macro-regional strategies week that took place on April 24-26 in Brussels.
 
The session 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 was moderated by Nadija Afanasieva, the director of Ukrainian Institute for International Politics and PAC9 member.
 
What was discussed:
🔸 examples of projects and instruments for skills and labour market in macro-regional strategies
🔸 policy review from the DG Grow and DG Employment
🔸 challenges facing the youth, including unemployment and lack of opportunities for personal and professional development, along with ways of addressing them
🔸 activities planned by MRS for 2021-2027 period, with regard to the results and the challenges identified during the previous period
🔸 instruments, funding opportunities and policy initiatives connected to the EU Year of Skills 2023
